Special Tour de Yorkshire Offers and Events

Many shops and businesses will be having special promotions and offers to coincide with the Tour de Yorkshire which passes through Penistone on Sunday 30th April. These businesses are highlighted in each section with a blue and yellow border.

Some offers are limited so don’t miss out!

Penistone has always had a variety of shops, perhaps more than you’d expect for such a small town. Thursday, the main market day has always been traditionally busy and weekends now feature specialist markets.

Shopping locally is not only convenient, it also helps to maintain the traditions and variety for which Penistone is loved.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS THE PRE-LAUNCH VERSION OF THE SITE. It’s been made available online for reference only and will change as it expands to accommodate the listings. It will link to the main Visit Penistone site when launched and will also form the basis of the new, revised version of the main site itself.

If you’re interested in having a page on this site (you can see an example here) please go to the application and membership page.

We hope to add special information about the Tour de Yorkshire in this section which will feature offers, events and other relevant information, the aim being to promote local businesses to coincide with the race. However, this will only happen if there is enough interest from local businesses. There is currently a special section for the event itself on the main Visit Penistone site, www.visitpenistone.co.uk/tour-de-yorkshire.html.
